How To Repair Nintendo 64 Controllers
Introduction
This fix is necessary for the owners of N64 controllers when the joystick becomes too loose over fourth dimension. If the joystick of a controller is loose, game play becomes difficult. Conditions for this fix include: a flat surface, plenty of light, and a method for keeping track of individual components of the controller. Practise caution when using the pocketknife in this fix.

Remove the ix external screws (4.viii mm Phillips caput) on the back of the controller.

Remove the dorsum panel from the controller.

Detach the two wired connections from the pocket-size, white box.

Remove the screws (iv.8 mm Phillips head) from the back of the white joystick box.

Remove the dorsum console of the white joystick box.

Remove the screw (iv.8 mm Philips caput) from the back of the joystick box.

Remove the joystick box from the controller.

Employ a cleaning cloth to remove residue and dirt from whatsoever components.

Free the pocket-sized, white basin from its connections to the controller.

Compression off a small slice of epoxy and knead it in your hand until a uniform color is reached.

Press the epoxy into the eye of the bowl with your finger and add a drop of h2o into the bowl.

Place a marble into the basin and apply a push-twist motion to form the epoxy into the shape of the bowl.

Cut the edges of the excess epoxy with the exacto knife.

Echo steps 8 and 9 until no excess epoxy is left.

Allow the epoxy sit and dry out for 30 minutes or until the epoxy is hardened.

Add a small coat of grease on peak of the epoxy with your applicator.

Utilize grease to the bottom of the joystick (the expanse circled in red)

Reverse these steps to reassemble the controller.

The fix is now complete. Move the joystick to test the stiffness. If the joystick is still very loose, you may need to add together more epoxy. If the joystick is too strong, you may demand to remove backlog epoxy.

What is the epoxy substance called exactly? I tried searching online just results all come back for JB-Weld coldweld bonding products.
